एक पिता अपने 25 वर्षीय पुत्र के साथ रेलगाड़ी से कहीं जा रहा था.
लड़का खिड़की पर बैठकर बाहर की चीज़ों को बड़े कौतूहल से देख रहा था. बीच-बीच में वह अपने पिता की और देखकर चिल्लाता – “पापा! देखो पेड़ पीछे भागे जा रहे हैं!”.
पिता अपने बेटे को मुस्कुराते हुए बहुत प्यार से देखता.
बेटे ने एक बार फिर से चिल्लाकर कहा – “पापा! देखो सूरज और बादल भी हमारे साथ चल रहे हैं!”.
सामनेवाली सीट पर बैठे हुए यात्री यह सब कुछ देर से देख रहे थे. उनमें से एक से जब रहा न गया तो वह पिता से बोला – “आपके लड़के को शायद कुछ समस्या है. आपने उसे कभी किसी डॉक्टर को नहीं दिखाया?”
पिता ने उत्तर दिया – “हम अभी अस्पताल से छूटकर ही आ रहे हैं. यह दो साल की उम्र में अपनी आँखें खो बैठा था और कल ही इसने देखना शुरू किया है”.

A 25 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted, “Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 25 year old’s childish behaviour with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed, “Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”
The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man, “Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”
The old man smiled and said, “I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.”
